Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: 25749
Rating:10.0
Comments:
Judge Michelson is smart, sharp, extremely professional in her demeanor both on and off the bench. She is generally a "hot bench" in oral argument, and is always well prepared. Her opinions are well researched and thought out; and I have discerned no bias in the manner in which she handles cases.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: 24146
Rating:9.2
Comments:
Judge Michelson's greatest quality is her total preparedness at all motion hearings. She is a very "hot bench," and her questions address the key points in dispute at great depth. She gives counsel ample time to argue their case, and appears to be open to persuasive arguments at hearings. I think she generally reaches the correct result; but on occasion her reasoning in her opinions may not always be bullet proof.

Comments:
She is a thoughtful judge, who wants to reach the correct decision and will do the research and work required to do so. In civil litigation, she will allow the attorneys to make their case. She is an active bench in motion practice and will probe for weaknesses in your arguments. Very engaging personality. Respectful to the attorneys and litigants.
