She should not be a judge presiding over civil litigation.

Civil Litigation - Govt.

Comments:
This woman should not be a judge. Her lack of knowledge about civil procedure is atrocious. I had an informal discovery conference with her recently and the things she was saying about a party’s discovery obligations was absolutely alarming. But as many know, there is a very low standard for judicial performance in the personal injury hub and this woman is no exception. I would say that she belongs in a small claims court, but I’m not sure she could handle that.

Rating did not show up. I want to make sure it does.
When the judge doesn't even know the verbiage that's on the forms the court is handing out, that's poor representation of the judicial system!

A different judge that has no business being on the bench to handle small claims cases, asked HER to respond to a Request for Court Order on his behalf. Apparently, none of the judges in Pasadena read/know anything about California Civil Codes,(even when the code is provided to them) or what's printed on the forms/documents provided to the Plaintiff in a small claims case. This woman couldn't guess which answer was correct, scribbled all over the form, then decided that the best answer was to deny the request. Now her name is added to my complaint to Commission on Judicial performance!

We were impressed with the judge's comment in the court room. However, we were shocked to receive her judgement. The judgement was totally opposite to what she said in the court room, and was totally against the facts she was provided. Court room performance - excellent. Judgement - extremely poor.
