Absolutely has one of the worst judicial temperaments that I have seen in quite some time. You can tell he is a former big firm, white shoe law firm type. It appears that he thought an appointment to the Superior Court was just a stepping stone to the federal bench, but never got there.

He does not listen, he does not care, and he acts like a typical bully. I surmise that he was bullied in his youth and this is his chance to get back at others. Simply put, he should not be on the bench.

He is quick to get to the point and will try to move the case along without getting bogged down with details. He leans towards the generally understood commonlaw principles and if you have a novel issue you are trying to pursue he won't have a lot of patience. This lack of patience means you may not get justice on a complex case.

Also he doesn't tolerate litigation bs fee churning tactics and he will call you out.

Also if you miss a hearing you will get sanctioned $250 pretty much for any excuse.

The thing is if you know this about him and you know how to usw it to yiur advantage yiu can avoid a lot of wasted time.

Very abrupt and rude. Not interested in justice. Simply wants to move cases along. A small man in every respect.

Comments:
One of the worst judges I have been before. Cares little about the merits and more interested in just moving parties and the case along. Extremely lazy and unwilling to dive into substance of a dispute.

He can be abrupt, but all in all, OK.

Comments:
He's a bureaucrat much more interested in moving cases along than dispensing justice. To succeed in his courtroom, try to find the solution that results in the least amount of work for him as he favors those solutions over all others regardless of justice.

This Judge rarely listens to the attorneys and does not afford genuine opportunities for attorneys to be heard. It's always his way or the highway, and he is hesitant and timid to make substantive rulings. Not a very good judge. Plus, he is totally passive-aggressive.
