This clown asked an attorney in a hearing-if there was any concern about the attorney himself acting as witness! He then after violating due process rights by refusing to allow a forensic expert to inspect a counterfeit note with a known forged indorsement...with NO verified complaint, NO authenticated evidence , NO competent fact witness and a pile of material fact issues...issued a VOID summary judgment!

Judge Kyle is widely regarded as one of the wisest judges on the bench. My two experiences before him would bear that out.

Comments:
Probably the worst judge on the bench. Sides with corporations 95% of the time. If you are a plaintiff and have an employment case or class action, forget it- dismiss your case and get out before you spend too much time and too many resources to have it taken from you.

Judge Richard Kyle does not care about justice, he forces you to settle the case. I asked for my day in court and wasn't allowed to speak. I have no respect for him as a Judge.

If you are a plaintiff representing an individual against a corporation, run as fast as you can because you will screwed.

Comments:
Not a scholar, by any definition. Only interested in moving cases; interested in getting it done, not getting it right. Will reach to cite non-precedent to support the result he wants. Pro-big business. If your case is 3M v. Target, will be fair. If Suzy Q. Public v. 3M, sorry Suzy, you will lose.

General consensus is that he is a nice guy off the bench. On the bench, he is just a conservative assembly line worker.

Agree with the prior comment that if you do not represent a large corporation, you are litigating uphill. Seems indifferent to the law and only interested in getting cases off his docket.

Bad judge- stay away from this guy if you don't represent a corporation.

Very even-handed judge. Respectful of all at trial.

The worst. Meddles, calls counsel on Saturdays at home to change hearing dates, is inflexible on scheduling. Don't be late to his courtroom or you can expect your head handed to you on a platter. Rules based on what he thinks is right and not on the law.

Bright, hard working and ultimately fair
in final disposition. His courtroom demeanor and treatment of attorneys and
litigants could stand some improvement.
