Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:1.7
Comments:
This is a guy that never should have been named to the court. I have had about 6 of his decisions overturned by the Judge as abusive of his discretion. Very opinionated

Civil Litigation - Private

Comments:
Nice person. Gets confused and then gets it wrong. Makes things up as he goes along to justify his thinking - which at times seems distorted. Like most of the judges in the NDNY, has little or no clue what its like to be in prIvate practice.

Bends over backwards to help governmental defendants, and is otherwise just a nasty old man. We can all take great joy in knowing that his retirement at age 65 is fast approaching.

Gave defendent severe advantage in civil litigations. Seems to favor the government despite what the law says.
