Civil Litigation - Govt.

Comment #: 21980
Rating:3.3
Comments:
Slowest judge in the Northern Districtt. We're talking 5-7 years to rule on over 100 motions to dismiss in highly complex global liquidation affecting thousands of victims of a crime who are dying as they wait for his Honor to move cases. Picks and chooses which cases to hear (if any).

Comments:
Is a graduate of Harvard, then did appellate work at a large firm. Appointed to the state bench where he was a civil law judge. Lacks criminal experience. Wants to be an appellate judge.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Rating:9.7
Comments:
At sentencing, follows guidelines but will vary with in the range sepending on relevant conduct facts. For example in a dope case, if defendanthas a large amount of drugs, sentence will be at the high end of ght guideline range.
Fairly listens to sentencing arguments.
