Judge is unfair and racist. He doesnt read the paperwork put fourth to him and constantly asks for things already submitted. Not the judge you want to be in front of in a child custody case because even if you prove to be a fit parent his rulings will always be for the mother. Dont be a black man standing before this judge if you wan a fair hearing. Ask for a new judge and pray you get one.

Been going to hearings for over 10 years for my son's fight for his rights to custody of his 12 year old daughter from her unstable, unfit mother (who has 3 other children). Going so far as to even given custody to the grandmother forcing him to go to Supreme Court - we won and Judge Morse was found to have abused his discretion. My son has custody after all this time and still has to fight the just over visitation rights Judge Morse demands for the grandmother. After time in a psychiatric hospital for self-harming that started while with the grandmother, we have to fight to keep her away from the woman. We know it will be a fight as he uses "best interest of the child" to make decisions that are in direct defiance of that very statement. For his 2018 re election he called himself impartial and one who follows the law. Our case proves he is not and does not.

Comments:
Judge Morse lost control of his courtroom. This after he was dismissive and uncaring toward the defendant. When he denied the defendant the opportunity to be heard, the defendant made himself heard. Judge Morse hid in the doorway as 2-4 officers tazed repeatedly and brought down a man who was not being violent, but merely stating his case. It was disgusting.

He is a presiding judge who either doesn't have good oversight of his responsibilities or is actively leading them in a way that doesn't protect women, minorities, or kids from the trauma of being ripped away from a parent without clear evidence of danger! Either way there are major major issues with the balance of his sentencing in favor of the affluent. Alaskans are growing weary and there is a huge no retention campaign underway. If he addressed the concerns I can imagine it could be diverted.
