Besides the fact that he took our PAID OFF home away from us but he also held our case in litigation for 3.5 years. I believe that he kept this lawsuit open so long it cost us everything we had. He has taken our civil rights from us. My husband is a veteran and Reed slapped him in the face. We should be retired, unfortunately we can't. We have no home. He put another veteran on the street.

this judge is the most unfair, bias, prejudice individual. I don't know how he ever obtained this position. he sent my husband to prison for life without any evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. he was influenced by the prosecutor, and didn't allow the defense to present any evidence that would have proven my husbands innocence. he does not follow the law but makes it up as he goes. I pray no one ever has to deal with him in court for any reason, its all about politics and not justice. he doesn't want to look bad in the eye of the public so he convicts innocent people. BE AWARE of him.

Really lazy judge with no follow through or integrity. He would be fired by McDonalds if he worked there for slacking off. Does not follow the law, but rather makes up his own law which has nothing to do with county or state laws, which he regularly violates.

This man is tricked and fooled by attorneys who run circles around him. If is completely ignored in court, and his rulings are never followed through because the attorneys play games and ignore him. He never bothers to ascertain whether his rules are complied with, because he could care less. He takes the tax payers money for his outrageous undeserving salary and does nothing in return for the money he collects. Justice, fairness are meaningless to him.

Judge Reed is an amazing, compassionate and fair man that adheres to actual law and IMO not swayed by personal relationships (attorneys) in family court. He actually cares about the best interest of the children; not the drama of attorney nonsense. I did not get the outcome I desired, but respect this man and understand his ruling due to my own attorneys error (did not file appropriately/in time).
If you are lucky to get Judge Reed, be thankful!

Appeal all decisions out of this court. You don't need a lawyer. There is a Pro Se packet with instructions online at the Arizona Supreme Court.

The only way to break the system in Flagstaff is to appeal out of that courthouse. [Redacted by Editor]

It is amazing how a judge could sign a divorce decree with our reading it, or noticing it didn’t have a parenting plan. Especially when he knew the parties involved and their minor child. He quickly ran for office to get off the family court bench as this incredible lapse in judgement was apparent. It brings so many things to mind, was this do to a bribe or just stupidity. Was this due to hiding domestic violence of the wife and children? What was the reason? This wasn’t legal in the state of Arizona, but it happened with impunity. Are judges allowed to ignore state law? Are they permitted to change it at a whim?
