Comments:
There are good judges and bad judges on the Count Court. Judge Mandell is one of the good ones. He is fair and listens. Even though he gave me jail for my crime, he treated me with dignity. I have appeared in front of others and was not treated the same.

Judge Mandell is an excellent judge! He listened, was patient and very helpful. Even though he sentenced me to prison, he was completely fair. We need more judge like him!!

I read was the other commenter wrote. Bro, don’t be pleading to crimes you say you did not do and then blame the judge for your bad choice!!

Comments:
Unfortunately, I felt very deceived by the judge. A lot of time, energy, and hearings took place to develop a plea deal in which the court had the authority to issue unsupervised probation and designate the offense as a misdemeanor. At the actual sentencing, the judge did neither. Also, irrelevant information was considered for which the judge had ordered dismissed months prior. Had I known all these factors, I would have never pleaded guilty. It was especially upsetting because I was already admitting to an offense I did not commit. During the settlement conference, the judge mislead me to believe things that were false. Now, an innocent person is left in a predicament. Justice was not served in this case. I will never have faith in the justice system again.
