AZ Superior Court Judge has taken an assertive stance on the refusal of Cyber Ninjas to release what have been determined to be public records. He has demonstrated that subpoenas and rulings have consequences which frankly is a courageous act in today's hyper-partisan political environment. Kudos to Judge Kemp for standing on principle and on the law.

Judge Kemp has done great job of holding the arrogant “Cyber Ninjas” accountable for following AZ’s transparency laws. We need more judges like Kemp to protect our Constitutional way of life from liars and grifters like Warren Peterson and Karen Fann

Illegal immigrants have no Constitutional rights, only citizens. The defendant (killer of Grant Ronnebeck) had enough mental capacity to not only re-enter the country on numerous occasions, but as a convicted felon, secured a handgun. He should receive the death penalty, preferably by a public hanging.

On January 22, 2015, Altamirano entered a QuickTrip convenience store in Mesa, Arizona, where Ronnebeck worked as a store clerk, and allegedly shot the young man to death after demanding a pack of cigarettes.

At the time of the alleged murder, Altamirano — an alleged self-proclaimed member of the Sinaloa Cartel — had been out of police custody on bond despite having orders to be deported from the U.S.

Judge Michael Kemp ruled that 34-year-old illegal alien Apolinar Altamirano was not eligible for the death penalty because he had a fifth-grade education and was unable to obtain special education because he grew up in rural Mexico. Last year, Kemp ruled that prosecutors in the case would not be allowed to mention that Altamirano was an illegal alien who had been living in the U.S. for more than 20 years.

This Judge is an absolute joke. When an attorney you don't even know approaches you leaving the courtroom and asks if you got "KEMPED"....You know there is a problem. Vote this sorry excuse for a judge out of office people. Time to exercise you right to vote. Let this guy go open a personal injury law firm with his buddies.

This Judge needs to be voted out. All Judges should let their political leanings be known because he’s clearly a Democrat Judge. Why is it not allowed to be revealed an illegal is an illegal and a Mexican gang member? Since when does lack of education not allow one to qualify for the death penalty? That poor clerk in Mesa was shot dead by this scum who Judges want coddled. Disgraceful to the judicial ststem.

"An illegal alien gang member accused of murdering 21-year-old Grant Ronnebeck in January 2015 has been deemed ineligible for the death penalty due to his “intellectual disability.” Kemp said that Altamirano only has a fifth-grade education and was unable to obtain special education because he grew up in rural Mexico. Last year, Kemp ruled that prosecutors in the case would not be allowed to mention that Altamirano is an illegal alien who has been living in the U.S. for more than 20 years." So anyone who dropped out of school can be deemed “intellectual disability?” They won't have to pay for their crime? A terrible decision for Americans!

After I filed bankruptsy on attorney fees wrongfully ordered that I pay, Kemp took the kids away from me and gave them to father with no evidence of abuse or neglect on my part. He gave me limited days per years of visitation and ordered I pay so much child support that I lost my home. I appealed him and won the appeal. I had evidence against Father, and when I went to court to present the evidence, he set a hearing before seeing the petition, and opposing party got it all dismissed. He is very biased and incompetent in his decisions, not making decisions that are best for children.

He gives the exact same punishment to every case that runs through his court: 3yrs supervised probation. He always gives the maximum possible probation so the state can collect $2,412 in 36 payments of $67. His first degree was business marketing. He is literally a puppet judge.

This judge handled my child custody case two years ago. I'm a dad and went to court against the mother of our child since I did not want our child to be near a family friend on her side of her family. I was confident with all the evidence that I had that I would have full custody of my child especially with my child living in the home of a man who I believed to be at the time as dangerous. This judge made his decision swiftly without taking into consideration anything that me or my attorney said especially since this man had already showed that he was not to be trusted. Guess what, last month, this man was arrested and charged with child molestation, sexual abuse, and showing obscene material to children. This judge should be ashamed for allowing my child to be around this sicko and possibly allowing my child to be abused by this man. I am upset with this dangerous man, but I am more upset with this judge who now has to live with his decision of allowing a child to be supervised by this freak.

When my attorney asked the defendant if he had coached the children on what to say, the defendant said very softly "no." My attorney asked again, the defendant hesitated, then Judge Kemp answered for the defendant, "He said NO." (It was obvious defendant had coached the children as all three of them ages 7, 7, and 9, said they wanted "supervised visitation," plus they said other things that made it obvious the father had coached them.
