As the mother of a victim of a crime, I wasn't sure what to expect. Our case was passed around to a lot of prosecutors and our family felt lost in the system. We finally made it to sentencing day for the defendant. I was impressed by how attentive Judge Palmer was when listening to each of the witnesses on both sides. The sentence he gave reflected the delicate balance between holding someone accountable while also believing that the defendant deserves the opportunity to prove he can and will do better. Judge Palmer showed compassion to both the victim and the defendant. My impression of him is that of a thoughtful, good man who takes his role in the justice system very seriously.

He doesn't follow the law and obviously doesn't care what the laws are. He is violating his duty to know trust law, the statutes or rules of court or probate law and cannot make unbiased and fair rulings. He is an embarrassment to the legal system. He shouldn't be on the bench doing harm. He shouldn't even be in traffic court. He is committing crimes and should be removed from the bench. He should be ashamed of himself! I want to know how he sleeps at night. Someone needs to review and investigate his cases.

This judge makes horrible rulings and seemingly has no regard for the Rules of Civil Procedure. He lets parties get away with just about anything. Very concerning.

This judge makes the most outrageous rulings based on what he knows to be falsehoods .
He also has the misconception that lawyers are for a clients "best interest " . He does not allow DG or due process and is afraid of being accused of being "conspiratorial" .
He cannot string a full sentence together and his favorite court room word is "sure" ,but for the state only . He has conducted on the spot hearings without notice and also conducted exparte meetings with the aag on specific cases

Judge Palmer is the Gold Standard. Going from Palmer to Mikitish was like going from a Cadillac to a Yugo.

Very concerned and involved judge. He takes everything into consideration and does not rush his decisions. He is the most competent judge I have seen yet in Maricopa County.
