It seems that she has made up her mind before the case begins. She had several ex parte communications and kept going off the record. There was suppose to be a trial. She had zero interest in hearing the evidence, and ordered off the record to make a ruling on a disagreement, then continued. There was a unofficial and off the record trial. The end it was called an "agreement" between the parties. She pretty much read word for word what was given her by the other party. If she ever was decent, it's time for her to move on. This has honestly shattered my trust and belief in the court. What happened was inconceivable.

Very rude and unprofessional. Is one the prosecution side in the state side. Does not have the care of the community and doesn't care to hear the about facts. She is pro adoption and and not family reconciliation. Should not work with child or families.

Not sure this Judge should has a law degree. Does not understand basic concepts of due process. Very poor grasp of rules of procedure. Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde disposition - very emotional and unpredictable. Displays poor judgment and temperament in front of juveniles where she should be setting an example. Serious ethics deficits--engages in ex parte communications, has lunches with prosecutor, etc. Refuses to appoint Guardian Ad Litems in situations where the law requires appointment of GALs. Abuses her staff and everyone she works with. The comment below #AZ1870 could only have been written by the Judge herself. She routinely makes calendaring errors noticing people for wrong court dates. Anyone who wants to be a good lawyer should never watch Bannon as she is the opposite of what a good judge is. Cochise County should be ashamed to appoint such an incompetent person to Judge.

Judge Bannon is an asset to the bench in Cochise County. She treats everyone in her court fairly. She keeps the calendar moving, she is knowledgeable about the law, and she allows all parties to be heard. I wish that all new judges and lawyers could watch Judge Bannon on the bench to get an idea of how a courtroom should be run.
