Judge Peyton is awful and difficult. As a judge, he is biased on the side of prosecutors, regardless of the evidence. .In his court your guilty to proven innocent. He also a bully, he treats his court room like he's a dicator.Hes for the women, alleged victim even when they lie. Men will not get a fair trial. If hes your judge.

You guys who are talking bad about this judge and calling him bias are wrong. You can't judge a judge based on the fact that you lost your case. Judge Peyton is an honorable man, he genuinely cares about the defendants in all of his cases.

Judge Peyton is awful and difficult. As a judge, he is biased on the side of prosecutors, regardless of the evidence. I do have to note that he is inconsistent in his dealings with defendants, based on their educational level and/or resources. He tends to be heavy-handed in his dealings with the educated. I pity any innocent soul that stands before this judge. Some peoples' lives are turned upside-down as a matter of his pre-trial assumption of guilt. Most people hold this man in high esteem, until they actually see first-hand that this judge is really the bully in the room.

County Attorney Greg Stoltz agreed to bring a domestic violence case against me. In the police report there was not enough evidence to even proceed to a court case. At the arraignment hearing, Judge Peyton sat there and allowed the case to proceed. Then he advised me to get a court-appointed attorney. The judge should have stopped the case before I needed an attorney, since there was no evidence and the State's witness did not show up. The witness never showed up to any of the hearings. I have already sent the judge a request to have those monetary charges revoked but he denied that request. It appears to me that Pima County can bring charges against people and turn their lives upside-down, and then at the end of it all drop the charges like they're doing you a favor. The county should have to eat the court-appointed attorney fees.
