I loved appearing in front of this judge. He has great sense of humor, and I would Not 170.6 this judge for any reason (Judge Gaffeny I would any day). I learned so much about our justice system as it is in OC. Hon. Leversen was the most fair judge I have seen in OC county, he explained his action as a father who needs to teach the child a lesson when the child disobeys the court. Hon. Michael Leversen kindly took me under his wing and thought me a few things in chambers, because I am a new attorney, and beautifully explained the court's position and public policy behind it. Hon. Leversen explained that he didn't do the crime, the defendant it. The Defendant deserves what he gets, he could have killed someone, and this punishment prevents future crimes. It is not Hon. fault for what the defendant did. He explained that he was a defense attorney for more than 20 years, he has heard all the excuses and sob stories, and was more concerned for future victims. The fact that defendant had never committed a crime in his life, or being very young was more reason to give the defendant the law blindly (like lady justice), without lubrication. That is a real judge for you all. Simply his judicial philosophy is to enforce the law AND not justice or mercy is court’s position in OC. The fact that defendant was brought to this country as a child illegally was defendants fault, which I agree. The fact that he will lose his job is defendant fault, I agree it is the consequences of his wrong. The fact that he lost his job and couldn't pay and obey the court's was defendant fault, we shall show no mercy to these foreign greasy heads. The fact that defendant on his own came to court and informed the court of his inability to comply with court orders because he had no money lost his jobs and had to take care of those children, yet again rightfully was defendant's fault. I love the OC, I love how judges give the law to the defendant and protect the future victims. I would feel very comfortable to raise my children in OC, and be protected from these foreign things that infest and debauch our community. May Christ bless his Hon., May Christ learn from his Hon, May more judges be like him.

He is a horrible man, who abuses power. He automatically has every defendant guilty, and will go as far as filing false police reports because their might be evidence of a crime that was not committed. If you get him as a Judge the best thing you can do if file 170.1 or 170.6 and disqualify him. Please report hi to Judicial because you will never get a fair hearing. Every lawyer I talk to about him, thinks he is an assh*le, but I think that is being nice. He has pushed case(s) to trial claiming their is enough evidence, but the defendant turned out to be innocent. He imposes harsh sentences, and makes defendants pay excessive fines. He illegally records phone conversations, which is illegal in California. I hope he gets cancer for he does to people. He is anything but honorable. Complete disregard for peoples un rights, but deny them the right to an attorney. If a case is negative, he will have it remove from the news. Why should anyone have to put up with pig? I can't think of a good word to say about him, but when I have a bad case of the runs he comes to mind. He has no respect for the law.
