This judge seems very pro DA and state, even seems to go out of his way to shut down defense.

Served on a jury with Judge Diaz presiding. He was very fair and did not seem to favor one attorney over the other. Although, we were late getting started on several occasions he was very apologetic for keeping us waiting due to circumstances beyond his control. He was very sympathetic towards the jury as this was a difficult case relating to child abuse. He has my respect as a judge and I would not mind serving in his court again.

Total little mans syndrome here. The first thing this troll tried to impress on me was how he used to practice in Federal Court and how he was an ex Criminal defense lawyer yet he was so far up the State's and cops rectum throughout trial it was obvious he was a lousy P.D. Sure enough, I asked around and he was a total dumptruck Public Defender. He has no business being on the bench. Paper this fool.

This man has no business being a judge. He is an arrogant, mean-spirited condescending jerk who favors the prosecution. Stay away if you can.

He is an arrogant, reactionary punk who plays favorites among attorneys, who is hostile to pro per defendants, and who defaults in the direction of power and away from liberty. He has no business being on the bench in this Republic.

This guy is a strange one. He can be very understanding to juveniles, and can go completely off the hook in all other areas. He seems to have a dislike of Caucasians, and appears to show a bias in favor of Hispanics. I have appeared before him three times, and each time has been a negative experience for me. I finally decided that I had to paper him on all future hearings.
