In my opinion this judge is plagued by bias, prejudgment, lack of preparedness and overall inability to decide an issue properly and promptly, often continuing hearings over and over. What is worse in my opinion is that he does not always care to follow legal precedent. I can't wait for the 1st of the year when we get our new judge in dept.3 of Riverside court. My advice is to avoid Judge Molloy at all costs

This guy is a strange one to say the least. I always cringe when I get ex DDA's in civil court, and for good reason; they are not well rounded or knowledgeable in civil law; tend to be extremely bias in favor of government defendants and will shout to anyone who will listen that they "know the law". Molloy did not disappoint me in my prediction. Although he seemed somewhat thorough and knowledgeable in the beginning of the case, as it wore on it became obvious he was a pretender, trying to keep up but woefully lacking in the required intelligence, intellect and acumen required of even an average civil judge. I tired to give him two stars in certain areas, but even that was difficult...Paper him before it's too late.

I appeared before Judge Molloy once. He knew the papers and the law inside and out. He got right to the point, allowed counsel to respond fully, and responded in kind. He struck me as very intelligent, fair, diligent, and amicable. I look forward to appearing in front of him again.
