I knew this judge when she was a prosecutor. She has odd obsessions and makes incomprehensible decisions. Her judgment is questionable. I would never want her as a judge on my case. The prior comments about her temperament are true. She lacks heart.

She was a bad prosecutor and is now a bad judge. She is an angry soul and thrives off of wielding power from the bench (very insecure person). Rude to all but prosecutors and LE. She should not be on any bench because her temperment is completely illsuited.

I have now seen this judge in action multiple times. I have read where people think she is rude or prosecution minded. I have seen her simply expect that all people follow the law. I have seen her come down on both law enforcement and defendants alike.
In my opinion she is a very fair judge, I didn't give her a perfect score because she does come across rude at times with those who have multiple violations of the law.
She does not handle traffic court, so I do not know what those comments refer to.

I am completely appalled with Judge McCann's actions in the courtroom. I am ashamed someone with her low moral character is in such a high & honorable position to oversee & place judgment on other's lives. For her to scold a Mother for missing her court date for a simple traffic ticket, as if it is her fault her daughter's life was taken on that same date, is absolutely disgusting. I have no respect for a Judge who talks down to a Mother who is clearly still mourning over the loss of her ONLY child. As if having those words come out of her mouth wasn't hard enough. Her eyes were filled with tears, voice full of pain, & this Judge basically tells this woman, infront of an audience, your only child's life is SO meaningless... it wasn't even worth missing traffic court. She not only needs to be removed from the bench but needs to seek therapy. She has to have some severe internal issues to reach such a inhumane level of inconsideration. She is a pathetic representation of this court, this state, & the law. The word "honorable" is the last word I would ever use to describe her & her actions. I do not trust her judgement on ANY case. She owes that woman an apology for disrespecting her & her daughter's life infront of the court. As well as be removed & never appointed to be anyone's Judge EVER again!

This Judge comes right from reality T.V., she lacks professionalism, character, integrity and morality for people and law. She has no descency and should be censored and removed from the bench to never be appointed or run for this seat again!

I watched this judge in court today show no compassion toward a woman who missed her court date due to her teenaged daughter's death. The woman had proof and everything! How horribly insensitive of this judge! In these times, we need those with power to humble themselves and show compassion toward the communities they serve. Disgusting!

A friend appeared in this judge’s court today over a failure to appear for a traffic ticket. The court date was June 1st, which just so happened to be the same day she found out her teenage daughter was tragically taken from her in a traffic accident. So, understandably, she was unable to appear as there were much more pressing concerns. This horrible representation of our state on the bench, had the temerity to tell this woman, “You still had a duty to appear and should have”, on a traffic ticket appearance, even though she had the proof in her had of her child's passing. She is completely insensitive and heartless. This will not be forgotten. Trust and believe.

She adds insult to injury. She has no compassion, completely heartless. My friend lost her only daughter in a tragic car accident which is the only reason she couldn’t appear on the day scheduled and showed her proof. This judge determined that wasn’t a good enough reason. She doesn’t deserve to be on the bench. She clearly doesn’t know how to exercise good judgement.

It is beyond my comprehension that a judge can look into a grieving mother's eyes, and tell her that the loss of her daughter doesn't matter. That such a loss should be set aside to appear in court on THE VERY DAY her daughter passed away. There aren't enough words to describe how disrespectful, uncompassionate, and deplorable this judge is.

As a human being you would think one should have compassion on another’s behalf. As a human being in the court of law one should be understandable to certain circumstances. For instances, when a women can not appear to court due to the death of her only child on that same morning that one needed to appear should be cut some slack. Especially when proof is given. As a person in the court of law, remorse should be shown, understanding that a person must grieve and now figure out what to do next. Sometimes as a human being you should put yourself in a person shoes.

I would have given her a negative -100 if it were possible. She held a woman responsible for attending court although the woman lost her child that day. If you've ever lost a child you would not do such an insensitive thing. She shall be judged for her actions.

This Judge is a disgrace to the legal system and very rude and disrespectful to defendants. It is said you're innocent until proven guilty well not with this Judge. It is obvious she is biased and leans towards Prosecutors and Law Enforcement Officers. This Judge should be disrobed and taken off the bench for the livelihood of our citizens. The way she talks to people is just flat out wrong! I ask that someone with authority over her take notice and handle this very rude, disrespectful person called a Judge! I will bring this to the medias attention immediately!

This judge is clearly a product of her professional environment in that she sides with the prosecution and law enforcement. Her application and interpretation of the law shows this bias and thus makes a defense attorney's job in her courtroom all the more difficult.
