Great judge and a pleasure to be in her courtroom.

Other

Comment #: CA6486
Rating:1.0
Comments:
In a complex case of corruption in south San Diego county which affected three school districts, Espana was--believe it or not--not familiar with the Ed Code, which specified that those convicted of a crime committed connected with their position were required to resign from the school board. Her misdirection muddied the waters and meant that necessary corrections were greatly delayed. She offered no apologies for her ignorance, and was apparently not reprimanded by any judicial authority. She apparently was trying to sweep things under the rug, in a very unprofessional manner. She should not be a judge--if anything, she should return to law school and take some remedial classes
