Judge Seth Hoyt egregiously misapplied California Law in family law matter under the Uniform Parentage Act. He sought the advise of superior court judges when issuing his decision. Reviewed the whole record outside of the litigants and their attorneys and denying me due process of law. Stripped me of custody and gave it to White Grandparents just like he brags about his grandkids. He has no jurisdiction to do so under UPA as the matter was not before the probate court. Judge Hoyt even considered a telephone conversation under section Article 1 section 352 and 2022. Hoyt is currently holding hearings during pendency of an appeal disrespecting the stay and in retaliation for me filing an appeal against him. Recent hearing he threatened to take more custody away from me. I have requested the Honorable Governor Newsom investigate judge Seth Hoyt, his clerks, and his court reporters. [Redacted by Ed.] majority of the citizens are unaware and unable to take legal action and get due process of law. Contact me directly regarding this judges....[Redacted by Ed.] .

Comments:
Judge Hoyt is a former DA, but that does not appear to cloud his judgment in criminal matters. While I find most judges tend to be pro-prosecution, especially at the preliminary hearing phase, Judge Hoyt was deliberative and willing to abide by the law and dismiss a case that never should have been filed. His ruling was reasoned and he did not succumb to pressure exerted by the upper echelon of the DA's office--most of whom are his former colleagues. You will get a fair shake in Judge Hoyt's courtroom and he is prompt and prepared as extra bonuses.
