Worst judge I have seen on the Santa Clara Superior Court. She was biased towards fathers in family court, doesn't listen to both parties like she is supposed to, makes orders without understanding the situation. Also rude, racist, cuts people off. Good luck getting anything done in her courtroom if she doesn't personally favor you.

A Disappointing Judge.
She gets easily tricked by wicked lawyers and becomes the ruin of innocent families.
It’s a shame when such Judges misjudge and fall for subterfuge and cloak and dagger stuff without assessing the deep-seated trickery involved in a case. Judges must me made of sterner stuff. Sorry neither me or my family can conclude otherwise. It’s got nothing to do with losing a case yesterday. If I am wrong in my assertions indeed, I be damned, but that is not the case so Do not get me wrong. I am not writing out of bias one iota bit. My Family and I have done nothing wrong. But this Judge fell for tricks and wickedness.
Let me explain one instance: Yesterday after the rendering of her judgement the Plaintiff (in this case who is an Attorney in Santa Clara County) advanced towards my wife and Laughed at her loudly & wickedly and despite my wife telling the Plaintiff that he has a permanent restraining order against him & to stay away the wicked Attorney kept advancing towards her & said to me and my wife: "You two vamoose". I stood by my wife silently and observed the nastiness of this Lawyer Plaintiff who does nothing but crafts lies. He did this just after the Judge rules in his favor against us. The lewd behavior is on our security cameras. He did this immediately after this Judge’s miscarriage of justice judgement.

Judge McCracken changed my life by attending jury duty in her court five years ago. She was such a fine example of how to be patient with people, extremely fair and able to cut through all the noise seamlessly. I will never forget my experience in the same room with her and aspire to be like her in every way to this day.

I am a person who was a mental health participants who was used to gain there opportunity. judge LaDoris Cordell who in 2010 became a police auditor and Joanne McCracken in 2010 who became a judge a year before being released from jail. Maybe nobody remember the 1996 campaign that i as an coerced to accept an 18 year deal even tho i was found a competent to go prepare I was accused a sleeping with my psychiatric doctor in a jail facility as well as not finding the second report. The files are seal.. A year to me being released.. She get promoted as well as d.a attorney McCracken to D.A. let mention the last thing my mom told me before she died..fight your case.. Don't take no deal.. Died that weekend. My mom work as a assistant D.A for child protection agency and knew judge cordell.. The sad part is.. Right after my mom died.. JoAnne McCracken became the judge in a million dollar campaign on statutory rape. This could have all gone away if i gave them what they wanted.. For me to tell her to have an abortion. My son lives today.. Found out 20 year later.. He not even mine. I am a better man today.. Not because of the system nor the judges or D.a.. It because doctors believe in me and for once.. I believed in the system.. I did what i did to become better.. For myself because for once . someone listened. I would like to thank head honorable.. And i say it with meaning for he believe.. Put a detainer hold to not put my on that transportation bus.. But that same night.. They cross of an other inmate name and put mine.. I been assaulted by officers but yet judge Lordeal as well as joAnne McCracken allowed it. It said to know and see a judge tell me my family doesn't care and your not leaving this court till you take this deal.. And to hear joAnne McCracken say.. If you care about your bay and her.. You wouldn't put them through this. Her and her mother was threaten by this D.A. they got up and left to Montana. She lost the baby due to drugs.. Her mom died 8 months after mine.. Cancer as my mom had so to be fair.. Sometime the price of fame will cost a lot more and i am not mad... There not fair judge and didn't win nothing... I won more.. Found myself and still free today.. 10 tear later.. No hand cuff.. No arrest. Instead of finding me the right help... Knowing my history.. You tried to destroy it hoping the truth will never come out

JoAnne McCracken has to be the worst Family Law Judge in the state. She rules against laws, cancels Family Therapy because a parent was exposed as not taking the child, after the child and one parent were attending. Completely ignored an extensive Child Custody Evaluation and the evaluator's recommendations. She reverses orders and rulings if they favor one spouse. Destroys families and parental relationships. Rude, egotistical, incompetent. This judge must be exposed and will be exposed for the atrocities she creates against children.

Horrifying, This judge is as many have stated, she yells at litigants, doesn't listen to others and consistently cuts them off when speaking. She tears families apart that are in crisis making matters worse. She accepts evidence obtained illegally with no regard. If you get assigned use your one time right to request a new judge before entering her courtroom and ending up in a shit show She is the worst family law judge we have had yet, has no empathy for the children and the trauma she causes.....be ware she is an idiot.

She has prolonged my case since the end of April. Made a temporary order without reading cps or police reports. My next trial date is now November 5th. She is bias. She does cut you off. She does not like being called on her wrongs. She does still act like a prosecutor. She is one sided ,her side. I filed complaints to no avail. She does not care about what’s in the best interest of the children and when you don’t agree with her she’ll find away to get what she wants.

This judge would not even listen to one of the parties. She was biased and yelled most times during the pre trial. She is an unfit judge and I will be calling to have her removed. Does not recognize the law.

Everyone says this judge is slow. What they also mean is she is dumb and does not know the law. She does not know right from wrong and so just grants concessions to either party without having a good understanding of the facts. She is rude and shuts people down, especially if you are male. She is dumb, sexist, and will drag your cases out. If you are assigned to her, you must request another judge before the 10 day deadline or else this dolt will cost you 2-3 times more money in lawyer fees and you will lose your sure-fire case. Your lawyer will not do this reassignment for you because as frustrating as it is for anyone assigned to this dolt judge, the lawyer will make more money.

Does not know the law. Oversteps her bounds and renders illegal decisions. A temporary restraining order would have been dissolved in April but because of Covid the date was extended. Attorney filed Ex Parte order to dismiss and she denied it. She assumed the respondent was an ax murderer and shamed the litigant saying she was co-dependent and harming her child. She continued it another 3 months. It’s not her decision. It was not a hearing, it’s not the state against the respondent. She acted as if this was a criminal restraining order that had been violated. She doesn’t know where she is- she’s no longer the prosecutor in criminal domestic violence. She ought to go back to law school and re-learn the law. She assumes things and treats everyone like dirt. A disgrace. Learn the law learn some humility. You are the problem. Truly truly frightening. There is no justice in her court, just ego

Worst judge of the superior court. She was the one who, when DA, sentenced a serial felon sexual abuser to 1 year in county jail. She does not know the law, nor has the patience to learn. She is also seriously biased and a clear racist. She would allow white lawyers talk at length but cut off non-whites. An embarrassment to the California judicial system. In family court she acts as a veritable dictator. She talks forever and likes to listen herself talking. She cannot write an order and so she continues to talk, though no one knows what she says. She also misstates obvious facts and later argues "you waived" by not objecting at the time she falsified the record.

This woman is an example of the danger presented by electing a gung-ho prosecutor who panders to predictable public sentiment. An innocent Latino will likely serve a life sentence after this judge violated numerous laws in order to satisfy a grieving family's need for vengeance. [redacted by Ed.]
