Judge Healy is a biased, racist judge who doesn’t judge fairly. He pick and chooses who he let off easy depending on their circumstances and skin color.

Judge Healy was reversed for judicial misconduct in People v. Williams (2021) 60 Cal. App. 5th 191.

On November 5, 2014, Healy was publicly admonished by the California Commission on Judicial Performance for his "demeaning characterizations of litigants and their children" and his failure to be "dignified and courteous to litigants and others appearing before him," while presiding over a number of family law cases over a two year period. Judge Healy was very fair and efficient in family Court. However, he often would vent sarcastically at parties and attorneys.

Judge Healy was my family law judge in 2012. It was my first time stepping into a courtroom. although initially things did not go in my favor, Judge Healy was to the point, made decisions based solely on facts and not human emotion.

Unfortunately for our children and I, Judge Healy was set to make a ruling in our case, but upon appearing in court, Judge Healy had been moved to the Criminal Division and Judge David Haet is now our family law judge.
Judge Haet decided to start our case from the beginning. (all of the money I had spent on my lawyer was now a complete waste.)
Fast forward FIVE years and thousands upon thousands of dollars later to today. We are still going to court every two to three months with nothing of note getting ordered.

I wish we still had Judge Healy.

Judge Healy's pals are in here to defend him---that means, Piro, Baumgarnder and DAN RUSSO.
Healy is a TYRANT and a CORRUPT Judge. He denied me a subpoena deuces tecum. He denigrated my son for being in a military uniform. Healy is the pal of all these horrible Solano County lawyers and justice is not served---they are running a mutual protection, mutual benefit and mutual admiration society. He's gonna get burned just like the last 2 DA's did. I believe the Federal Justice Dept and FBI will probably intervene and soon!

Judge Healy gives children to abusers. He hates women and minorities. He built his career on violating the law to get batterers and molesters off on charges. Defense attorneys and attorneys who represent abusers love Judge Healy. Anyone who feels that children have a right to be safe is horrified by this judge.

Judge Healy is efficient with his and the court's time, and expects all parties to be prepared by the time they enter the courtroom. He is very decisive. He's also a "quick study," grasping the points made by each party, cutting through the extraneous matter, and getting to the salient matters in a case. Some may find him quick-tempered because he insists that the parties be well-prepared and articulate; I find this to be a favorable trait. I was a defendant in a clearly frivolous action. The plaintiff was ill-prepared, and Judge Healy quickly came to that conclusion, but he gave the plaintiff additional time outside the courtroom to get her case together. In the interim, he heard another case. Afterwards, the plaintiff wasn't much better prepared. The judge was patient with the plaintiff, although she stumbled badly. He then provided me with the time that I needed to state my defense. When he appropriately criticized the plaintiff and her boyfriend for something, they shouted obscenities at him, and he didn't hesitate to have the bailiff remove the plaintiff's boyfriend from the building. I greatly appreciate Judge Healy's fairness, efficiency and decisiveness. I think he's an excellent jurist.

Judge Healy is fair and, in family court, is very direct that parents are supposed to keep themselves and their children out of conflict. The folks who are giving bad ratings here are probably parents who were out of control behavior-wise.
