He was a newly appointed judge that chose to follow the orders of the judge that was personally connected to the defendants/perpetrators. [Redacted by Ed.] continued to rule against the plaintiff/victim and for the defendants with every motion filed. He dismissed the case with a financial penalty to the plaintiff/victim and not the attorney. Judicial bias and [Redacted by Ed.] was involved. The appellate court ruled that the trial court abused its discretion in dismissing the action and reversed the order of dismissal. However, the judge had already assisted in helping to destroy the victim's case no matter what happened after the appellate court ruled.

This Judge Daneil P. Maguire is very bias and has a very stong discriminatory demeanor ,he had a prejudice opinionon me because I was the parent in a case in a juvenile dependency case. I do not believe he even read our paperwork and if he did then he is truly and abusive person because no matter what he sided with the agency even when reading clear facts that their recommendation was not in the childs best interest. He did not follow legal law and did what ever he wanted. He would remove the parent lie and say they were removed for being didrupptive when they were not, he did this when he was going to make a ruling that was not right and he did not want anything ne record that would contradicthis needed out come. He would cut off a wittness in the middle of their testimony if he did not want they were saying put on record if it went against their wanted out come. Also he did not hold anyone responsible for committing purjery and under oath and did not male socail worker correct their lies in their reports allowing them and ruling as if the were real facts. He would say somone impeached themselfs on the stand and still rule in their favor. This judge is out of control with his disresptful attitude and the way he uses his power of authority to treat the people in his courtroom as if the are worthless. He will cut you off saying ok well we dont have much time but that means he does not want to come out on record.

Maguire violated California Judges Benchguide in my case. For the specific matter, the benchguide said "must not". Maguire did the "must not". I didn't know I needed to remind the judge what is stipulated in the benchguide.

I found Judge Maguire to be open and mindful of the law, courteous to litigants and counsel, and someone whose appointment to the bench I can admire. He appears more comfortable in criminal matters (and particularly when procedural issues are involved) then civil matters. Even so, he gave us a fair shot and though he didn't give us exactly the outcome we wanted, his solution was both practical and fair.
