On February 26th I witness Mr Benjamin ostracize and disrespect a elderly black man who was correcting him on his charge it was sad he made him sit down like he was a kid like it was a seen out The wizard of Oz Mr Benjamin seems to be racist towards black men

Judge Benjamini is one of the most fair legal professionals I have encountered. From the very beginning I felt like I would get a fair shot at my defense even with an overzealous district attorney who clearly wanted to make an example out of me. I was absolutely correct in thinking that, and that really all you can ask for when it’s your day in court.

He was a former assistant public defender. In his court the public defenders acted unprofessionally it was a circus. I am speculating that they feel they can behave this way in Benjamini’s court. Same for his wife’s court room. Its not credible that out of all the attorneys in California the best choices for judgeships were husband and wife.

He gave a defendant who plead guilty to 5 felonies(with enhancements and violent) and 1 misdemeanor probation. Not acceptable. Violence against women should be treated more seriously in this day and age.
