Judge Wyatt deserves a generous retirement bonus, because we all would better off just paying him to stay home.

Made an absolute mess out of the probate calendar; he is way too technical; guardianship cases that used to take 3-6 months were taking 2 years because he had a hearing or trial over every case and he would set up multiple review hearings on each case. It got so bad that if you wanted a hearing in a guardianship, your hearing date was 9 months out. Meanwhile, the kids were living with parents who should not have them or with the person to whom he gave temporary guardianship. I had an uncontested guardianship case that lasted over one year because he kept setting up review hearing. Come on man. There is no one that wanted these kids. My clients were the grandparents who didn't want their grandchildren to end up in the foster home; they were just trying to do the right thing and this Judge was making us keep coming back hearing date after hearing date.
