Monterey County can do a lot better than her as a judge.

One of the worst judges that I have ever witnessed. She has this unusual inclination to berate lawyers in courtroom. As a practicing attorney for over 30 years I found this deeply disturbing and undignified. She never impressed with her legal abilities when she served as a prosecutor. The People of Monterey County deserve better than her. It was unfortunate that she ran unopposed. Our criminal justice system deserves better and so do the people who appear in front of her. It does not matter if they are prosecutors, defense attorneys, litigants, and lay people. They deserve to be treated with proper respect and dignity. That is one of the foundations of our criminal justice system.
