Comments:
I first met this Judge in Santa Ana Arraignments and was very impressed with his congenial nature and friendly disposition. Judge Yellin really has one of the best personalities of any Judge sitting on the bench. I know its in part because he is very honest and doesnt act as though he knows everything or that his way is the only way like so many Judges can and often do, rather he is and ways has been very honest about the circumstances that got him on the bench as he was a formerly an elite homicide prosecutor.

he as a very high intellect oh, it's immediately noticeable when you're in his presence, and he's magnanimous and electric and I can see how he could explain and persuade and convince a jury probably whatever he wanted.

Now that would most likely lead to an arrogant and self-serving personality, but not here, not at all he never uses that intellect to put others down and he doesn't use it to make himself feel holier than thou.

Judge Yellin is very down to earth and humble. A good role model in general for a younger attorney like myself... especially when compared to some of the other personalities I've come across sitting on the bench in Orange County.
