Comments:
Judge Fisher is unfortunately biased. She is disorganized with her calendar and sides with district attorney every time. She is very rude. One time, she made my father's lawyer wait a whole day just to have a 10-minute continuance.

Comments:
She had no control over her own courtroom -- even the bailiffs were interrupting her with jokes and laughter. The sentences she handed down were racially motivated and uneven. I watched two people with similar crimes walk away with completely different sentences because she decided that one of the people needed to learn a lesson. Also rude to innocent veterans. A lap dog for the overcrowding of our jails.

Judge Fisher is dynamite. She's fair and just, and remarkably empathetic to most defendants. It's obvious that she demands an environment of respect in her courtroom, which she propagates by being a good listener. You can tell she's annoyed with certain hiccups and bureaucratic glitches in "the system," and regarding such, she'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

I have to agree with Comment # CA228. I recently tried a felony criminal matter in Judge Fisher's court. Fisher was not only pro-prosecution, she practically tried the case for the prosecution from the bench. Fisher was extremely rude to defense counsel & when the "not guilty" verdict came in, she took it upon herself to poll the jury in what I interpreted as a last ditch effort to create a mistrial. The "Harris" incident clearly is clouding her ability to be a fair & impartial judge.

Judge Fisher was a commissioner in juvenile court when she received her appointment. Initially she was fair - however, since the "Harris incident" she has become pro-prosecution. All motions are granted in favor of the prosecution. She will not strike any enhancements and sentencing is more severe. She is afraid to make the hard calls now and will play it safe by going along with what the DA wants.
