This judge said right on stand to the plaintiff :that he works with the defendants on other cases as expert witnesses and they are good people so my claim lacks merit. What's worse the defendants are USC professors that are also CHLA doctors causing purposeful disability in non-white babies for profit and he is a USC alumni and refused to recuse. [Redacted by Ed.]

This judge is pro defense. He just can't help himself. Even if he stands getting reversed he does not care. He should retire and become an artist and leave jurisprudence to those who really care, are unbiased and even handed. He is the master at derailing a case creating reversible issues for appeal. Maybe he doesn't care at this late stage of his career.

Bigoted and biased; the kind of person who doesn’t realize their bias or doesn’t care. I guess he thinks because he has minority grand children that makes him non biased. It’s something he likes to frequently disclose in court hearings. Picks sides and defense oriented. Likes to give female attorneys that he finds attractive an unfair advantage. Likes blondes. He will find a way to torpedo your case, and will do it with a smile. He could have retired a while ago but he seems to like the control of it all. Thinks he’s scholarly. Time for the old guard to go away and get judges who can be impartial. It takes more than asking “how can I help you?”

"Did you provide your client(s) with full disclosures (or any disclosure) of this information, before you were paid?"

^ Perhapsyou should change your day job?

Also, a very, similiar comment, to comment "CA31371, Civil Litigation - Private"-was previously written, on another judge.

I’ve had a few appearances in Judge Green’s court. I lost each time. But I have to admit I deserved to lose. My somewhat convoluted theories didn’t fly. Judge Green often sees the deciding issues better than the attorneys and I think that is the cause most of the negative comments. If you have a good case stick w Judge Green

Terrible courtroom. It's small and you can smell the stink of the other attys. Green fits though with the courtroom as he is a pile of stink himself. Reminds me of a torture chamber. So, if you want to be tortured and smell the stank of other crud ball shitty. attys. enjoy yourself.

I agree with the comment from CA24524 about the horrendous amount of rotten judges in the LACSC system. BUT, Green is just so mediocre that it's rather sinful to state that he is a good judge. Moderately mediocre is what I would agree to. He shows his art work on his courtroom walls which brings a bit of cheer into the room. Maybe he should resign himself to this talent and hang up the cloak for good.

Probably the best Judge I have been before in any Court. He is a cut to the chase kind of Judge who sees through B.S. but gives people a chance to be heard. It's too bad there are not more Judges like him. There are so many bad Judges in the LACSC system now that you're best of getting in to Fed Court if you can. I wish there were more Judges in our judicial system like Judge Green. He's smart and compassionate and logical. Best of all he understands what justice is all about.

Another one of those Stanley Mosk judges who are lazy and just biding their time because they want to "have a reason for getting up in the morning." Well, no one needs these judges because they are just keeping the bench warm and not more than that.

I was informed by my atty. that Judge Green was one of the better judges at Stanley Mosk so I was happy. Boy, what a let down. If he is one of the good ones what are the others like? He was a big fat let down. Not smart at all. The courtroom is run like a preschool for idiot lawyers who are mostly looking for a quick shakedown from some poor soul litigant and or insurance co. It's so pathetic. I saw lawyers suing for $15k and I thought wow, how depressing.

If you are one of the lucky litigants and he "likes you" Judge Green will make a referral for mediation to his wife who is a retired judge now making oodles of money at one of those high priced mediation/arbitration outfits. Where does the honor and buck stop?

His small courtroom reminds me of a mental institution complete with art work scattered on the walls which are signs of self help or... Hear the judge's memorized court room rant. Hear the lawyer's memorized psychotic rant. I understand that Camarillo St. Mental Institution was closed but am thinking that perhaps Stanley Mosk "a similar "mental institution" should be shut down too. Look at the faces that wander the halls and courtrooms, complete zombies amid the filth and squalor that permeates its walls.

In response to another comment as to the judge finding some cases fun. I found this remark so very true. Apparently the judge unfortunately doesn't realize nor care that being in litigation is very stressful for all concerned parties, especially the defendant. He should change his tone in court about the fun cases he desires to be tried in his court. In lieu perhaps many of his fun cases should be axed as they no doubt are without merit and simply methods for the usual ambulance chaser to shake down the opposing side.

I think the person that does all of the work for this judge is the guy (resembles the judge but younger) who comes out into the audience and sits quietly and smirks. Just seems like this is the judge's clerk who does all of the work. Judge Green just appears, recites the same script and this is the life of the judge. If you want a judge like this then so be it. I just had the strong sense that Judge Green doesn't know really too much about his cases and it's the clerk who is the mastermind of the rulings. So, if you want a judge who passes his cases on to the clerk to decide then this is the place for you.

More interested in how "fun" a case will be than in the law. Easily swayed by an interesting complaint. Easy-going judge to deal with, though, and generally a nice guy.

Judge Green IS THE BEST PERIOD. You have to love a judge who sincerely asks: "How can I help you today". He knows the spirit and letter of the law. He inspires everyone who appears in his court to do their best for their clients and the judicial system. I don't know him personally or socialize with him. He doesn't always rule in my favor but I always respect his analysis, research and how he reached his decision. Overtime I leave his court, I wonder: "Why don't we have more Terry Green's on the bench?" He loves what he does and is one of the best judges I've know in 45 years of practice.

Biased, weak, prejudmental of what he thinks of case even before , during and after trial to get his outcome. Even when jury decide differently he find way to over rule their verfict . as a witness i was made feel like fool as he felt i was a dentist and why did i help my friend look for justice by our court system? I believe our courts he would find justice but instead i even found unjust treatment and disrepect from this judge and embarrased to be American that day only to seen decline how this judge handled the case. Despite winning with evidence my friend saw the judge decide a new trial was needed bevause he "felt" more to case. Totally an embarrassment to the judicial system we should respect but not with this judge. Remove him please!!

This judge is funny, but not at all judicious. He admits he does not read the pleadings after claiming to read them. On the record he has said so many things that discriminate against women and he is a very seemingly good guy who hates justice. A fake. A fraud. A wolf in sheep's clothing. Untrustworthy. Definitely don't fall for his nice guy act, he doesn't understand the law at all and always sides with big business even if someone has been violently wronged. A very shady character who for the state, harms its citizens by denying our constitutional right. File a 170.6 trust me.

This judge decides against jury verdicts, even break law and sides with side he wants even when all evidence opposite...just because he has feeling. Very unfair judge and even when says the people theives in court...hands them the property and victim left fighting for years.Hes an idiot....and makes his own laws and not follow law like a judge should.

As another reviewer said, this judge presents well at first, seeming amiable. But he's an idiot that shoots from the hip. Worse yet, he thinks he's brilliant. If you have a complex legal issue, you should use pop-up pictures in your brief and bring puppets to your oral argument. Also, he likes to hear himself talk, especially about his boring old war stories. He is a fairly nice guy, but I'd rather have a grump that either knows the law or is able to learn it.

Terry Green is the worst judge in California hands down. He ignores the law, he has no respect for anything except big money litigant. Get rid of him ASAP, file 170.6 as soon as he is assigned to you. It appears that he has mental disability, he thinks he knows it all. Again get rid of him. 170.6 will save you

You may not always get the ruling you want; but this judge will read your papers personally, educate himself on the law in your area if he doesn't know it or remember it, and give well-reasoned opinion. He is bright and hard working. He is pleasant on the bench. He is one of the few judges who still reads summary judgment motions Himself . . . on the weekends . . . I fell like I get a fair shake from him; even if I don't always win. PS: Football analogies are helpful in this courtroom!

Judge Green is one of my top 5 in the whole county. Although a bit long winded, I'll take that any day from a judge who, when his obvious mistake is pointed out by counsel, doesn't bolster or get defensive or rude. He just admits his mistake and fixes it. He's is also knowledgeable, fair, patient and has a tremendously well run courtroom.

I came to hate his god damn war stories. This judge presents as a likable guy, put he has a shoot from the hip approach to his job. He will ask during your first appearance "What's this case about?" because he can figure out everything he needs to know about your case in less than a minute; that's how long you have to win him over. If you don't make your sell in that one-minute pitch, you have lost your case. Unfortunately, that makes him typical of judges in the California courts.

He reads everything. He listens. He is friendly. He is practical. I found him great! (And no, I don't know him personally or work for him, etc.) He is just a great guy who is very fair.
