Comments:
There is no justice here. She and her staff are cruel to people of color, folks in wheelchairs or if they were hurt during the crime or in jail. Nobody is saying crime is ok--in fact, so-called "white-collar" defendants with private counsel are getting bail reductions and sweetheart deals; but the treatment of anyone else in Dept. 125 is inhumane and will be reported. I have seen enough.

The Hon. Priver doesn't want to work too hard in her courtroom. It's easy to see why she rates SO HIGHLY with private criminal defense attorneys...trailing a case for a few years while a defendant walks around freely on a few hundred thousand dollars of bail is a party compared to being a victim. Justice? Not in Dept 125!

Judge Priver is by far the best judge I have ever appeared before and I have appeared before many judges. I had the greatest honor and privilege to try a case in her court and was absolutely impressed with her calm temper, ability to handle crisis, knowledge of the law and overall fairness and compassionate demeanor. I admire her greatly for the rare qualities she possesses as a judge and person. She would be the best role model for all judges and attorneys as well. I have learned a lot from her. We are very fortunate to have a judge like that.

Judge Priver is an excellent bench officer. She displays understanding, empathy, and compassion at every stage. She is a great listener as well, and I actually enjoy going to court, knowing that she is presiding that day over the case I am litigating. She is one of the best in the state!
