Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA1359
Rating:8.5
Comments:
Excellent judicial temperament. He tries very hard to be fair to both sides - which can be frustrating at times. He will let you try your case. I'd have no hesitation to try either a plaintiff or defense case before him.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA1063
Rating:1.7
Comments:
If you are a defendant in a medical malpractice case, he is your judge. He will allow defendants to stonewall plaintiffs with discovery to the point that you wonder if he ever read the intent of the Discovery Act. He will not give plaintiff's lawyers sanctions even after making findings that the defense's conduct made the motion to compel necessary. If you are a plaintiff's lawyer, you definitely do not want a court trial in front of him.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: CA142
Rating:1.4
Comments:
This judge ordered the defense attorney to turn over all clients' statements made to his attorney over to prosecution before trial.
