Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA39365
Rating:2.0
Comments:
Judge Blanco has a shocking approach when it comes to victims of domestic violence. She believes that victims of domestic violence, even when there are visible injuries and death threats to women and children, they're probably just using the system to get custody. She's made those statements on the record. It's so shocking, inappropriate, and not at all trauma informed. She needs to be educated about domestic violence seriously. And if you have a defendant who has been convicted of domestic violence against three different women, maybe you should at least CONSIDER giving the defendant probation and a requirement that he complete batterer's intervention classes. If there is any opportunity to require judicial officers receive ongoing training about domestic violence issues, Judge Blanco would be a very good candidate for that type of education.

As soon as she found out the truth in my case, she was trying to protect my ex, she ran off the case.
The evidence was in black and whites and she pretended not to see it
