Comments:
Judge Schuit needs to work on his listening skills. He did not allow me to explain myself or my financial situation. He talked about my medical bill and my salary with shock as if I should be ashamed of the fact that I make a very good living as a 28 year educator with 3 degrees including a master’s degree. He assumed incorrectly (and did not allow me to explain) that I am only paid for 11 months a year. It should not matter how much money someone makes if the other party is guilty of shady and/or illegal means in order to get their judgement. In short, he does not seem to be impartial in his demeanor and presented bias when talking at me.
As an educator, I am disappointed and discouraged to see in person, that justice, sadly, is hard to come by in this world we’ve created.

Comments:
Judge Schuit not only prejudged the case, he never read the brief. This was evidenced by the ruling, which came without explanation, was accidentally posted prior to the hearing by a clerk who didn’t realize the hearing date had been postponed by 10 days. Of 12 issues he ruled on only one. When a reconsideration and clarification was sought he improperly issued sanctions. The sanctions were reversed on appeal. When it turned out several months later that the basis of his ruling, the validity of a proof of service, was undermined by the discovery that the proof was forged, he refused even to review the evidence.
