Comments:
Exceptionally rude and condescending. I went before him for an emergency protective order and he told me I can wait while he invited a young attractive Latina woman into his chambers and leered at her while she walked. He obviously was more concerned with his "Johnson" than with doing his job. A "macho" degenerate who must believe that he is superior to the little folks who seek justice. Someone offer him a job at El Torrito; he would be good busing tables.

Comments:
Very fair judge, actually applies the law in UD cases correctly i.e., substantial breach of implied warranty, not just missing a screen. Polite to Ts and LLs, tries to explain to proper Ts as well. Very fair.

Totally a shill for the landlord's attorneys. Avoided anything to do with the fraudulent service of process and perjury by the landlord attorney, who used a letter from another attorney to himself, as evidence that I had mailed my motion late. Not even a letter from the attorney, stating that she was working for the landlord attorney, gave him pause. Horrible judge, calls himself "Il Maestro" - of what ?

Represented a tenant in his courtroom in a UD case. He was horrible. My client was the only tenant with counsel. He made me wait until the afternoon for a 20 minute bench trial. He ruled againse every tenant before him that day. Many had meritorious defenses. When it was clear that he wasn't going to be able to find for the landlord, he told us to go outside and make a deal. Ridiculous.

I have appeared before him on many family law cases and I find him to be fair and he has a very good knowledge of the law.

He can be timid in making judgements but is truly a nice man and a fair judge. When I worked for the court as a 730 evaluator he was very protective which was great.
