A completely neutral Judge, who unlike 98% of the Judges I have dealt with... GETS IT. He gets the circumstances of what can sometimes put people in a position where they make poor decisions. And unlike most Judges, he does not hate defendants just as much as the Prosecutors do. Therefore, he discerns much better than the rest... that not all defendants need to overly punished.

The Excellent Judge Johnson Presiding...

My busy firm routinely has a need to request sentence modifications. His Honor does not feel the need to flex over every matter, rather he values the attorney's opinions and guides the modifications with input from counsel.

An even-handed former District Attorney. His Honor is from a time when the DAs in OC had a little more flexibility and had time to care.

As a younger east coaster, I can't help but get the feeling of a very old-school vibes and judge Johnson's courtroom as though he also hails from back East although I have no information regarding that, he has a lot of integrity.

I have been putting cases in front of him for the past couple of months with my partner and I each discussing how much we like to have matters heard in his courtroom and appreciate the fact that he doesn't look down upon defense attorneys which sadly does happen in OC.

That is precisely what makes practicing in his courtroom so great, I think at the end of the day... there's a lot of mutual respect and His Hon. will give it, if you earn it.

Judge has nothing to be proud of. She stinks in all aspects of her work current and past. What a disgrace to mankind. She was politically appointed by a cretin and now she sits upon a cushioned seat exhibiting a vicious glare upon poor souls.

Bench Officers should model themselves after this Judge. As fair as they come; and smarter than everyone in the room without flaunting it.

I like this Judge. I filed a demuurer in a medical marijuana crim case & he really understood my point and offered
that writ could settle it. Client refused to do the writ.
