Judge Rubin must be commended for his integrity and diligence in upholding justice for all. His adherence to judicial ethics is admirable. He firmly opposes dishonest tactics from all, asking questions and carefully reviewing the cases and evidence before ruling. I was anxious when I went to his courtroom because past judges were blatantly unethical. I did not anticipate him treating a Pro Se litigant with respect or calling out unethical lawyers. Although there was an issue with the documents submitted to him for an ex-parte, he immediately looked it up on the bench computer, throwing the opposing corrupt party out of line. I knew then that cheap tactics would not manipulate him. Judge Rubin is impartial and holds everyone to the same high standards. He is genuinely a dedicated and severe judge who treats all parties fairly.

There was domestic violence, a child in dads house that had 2 reports of sexually behavior issues, one of which the child admitted he had touched our daughter. Many reports from the kids and therapist that dad never followed court orders even Judge Rubins orders to protect the children yet Judge Rubin felt our girls were still safe at dads house. Now one of daughters have been raped and this judge along with all the other ones on our case are to be blamed for turning a blind eye to an athlete that they all thought so much of. Shame on you Judge Rubin for not listening and believing all the evidence I provided.

He actually ordered me to pay child support to abusive ex that had documented history of being violent. He thinks family court is criminal court e.g. Refuses to discipline attorneys that play games and lie when it's blatant and brought to his attention.
I am sick of hearing about his rants about rhe AOC and that the lower court has budget problems; he helps himself to ANY money supported by block grants like increasing non-custodial time even when the case has been over litigated by an abuser. He likes to pay other court appointed persons too with our tax dollars who also go out on a limb to lie. Shame on him! There should be transparency in all cases including when he identifies your case as match for court funding rather than to do the right thing for a child. He should pack a suit case to schlep back and forth between houses every week during the school week. I wonder how he would like it? That's what he ordered via minors counsel when our child didn't even know what 50% of a candy bar was; but wait why, don't we let our young children stay up all night and eat candy bars for breakfast since apparently they call the shots. Custodial parents run for the hills.

Extremely arrogant. Allows his emotions to cloud his judgement. Blatantly abuses his discretion against those that dare get on his bad side.

Pray that you never have to appear in what he refers to as, "his court." This judge has disregarded that he is a public servant. Local rules of court and rules of professional conduct by attorneys just don't matter to him. He should take some courses on domestic violence and parenting.

I have never been disrespected and treated so badly by an officer of the court. He does not bother to read filed pleadings; and is only interested in generating money for the court, rather than doing what is best for families.
