Never ever on time. The smartest guy in the building -- just ask him. He has talent but seldom applies it. Arrogant, talented, lazy, and drifting towards retirement.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA3100
Rating:8.5
Comments:
Judge Kramer has firm views on case management which do not always translate into efficient and cost-effective litigation. But when it comes to trial, he is an exemplary trial judge. He listens, he remembers what witnesses say, he understands trial themes, and he lets the trial lawyers try their cases. Judge Kramer knows the law and also has a keen grasp of evidentiary issues. He seems always to be in a good mood (unless a lawyer says or does something to annoy him, which is rare) and clearly loves what he does for a living. I have become a fan of Judge Kramer, and not because he always agrees with my positions because he doesn't.
