This is one of the worst judge I have encountered. Her judicial temperament is horrendous, and she does what she wants regardless of the law or the facts.

I only have one experience with this judge, but it throughout the course of a complex civil case that went to trial. My experience was entirely different from the others here. She was prepared, knowledgeable about the law and procedure. In trial she ruled promptly and usually correctly on objections and motions. She was polite to counsel and witnesses, but without every losing control of her courtroom.

The absolute WORST judge I have ever witnessed, and I'm also counting years of watching LA Law, Ally McBeal, and Boston Legal. Completely biased on the prosecutor's side (Didn't she used to be a DA? Or maybe she's married to one? Or both?) Was rude and disrespectful to a very senior, well respected Public Defender while coddling a young, ambitious prosecutor. Was on her computer while PD was making his case. Has no understanding of, or tolerance for, mental illness and its impacts on people's behavior. Completely ignored sentencing recommendations of Probation Officer in sentencing a mentally ill person to four years in prison for minor crime. Should be removed from the bench immediately for incompetence; there is nothing "honorable" about Massullo.

I've been litigating complex civil cases for over 30 years. Judge Massullo is the worst judge that I've ever encountered. She is heavily biased towards the defense, has poor litigation management skills, and is unreasonable and set in her ways.
