Comments:
Terrible judge, seems to think on emotion rather than the Law and Logic, if you are a civil plaintiff DQ if you have the unfortunate luck of having him decide your case. I seriously doubt he read my side's briefs and read the opposing side's instead, so there is no even handedness on the part of this judge.

He didn't even read our papers. Did he go to law school? Was he awake? Why is he on the bench? He needs a new career picking strawberries to see how the rest of us struggle day to day.
He WORKS FOR US PEOPLE. RECALL HIM!

Judge Kinnicutt is over the top. He is demeaning to litigants and patronizing to women. In civil - he seems to dislike plaintiffs very much. He engages in tirades in open court, rolls his eyes, and is disrepectfuly of the parties and attorneys in court. Right before he became a Judge - and was a DA - the rumor is that he submitted a declaration uto the court, signed by a non-exitent doctor. The bar declined to do anything because he was no longer an attorney. The Judicial council declined to do anything because he was not a Judge when it happened. But, he moralizes against everyone else to tell the truth. All of the public defenders in the county and private defense counsel DQ him with a preliminary objection, due to bias. He is in civil because of the defense attorney DQ's. Recall Judge Kinnicutt.

Horrible judge, does not understand facts, seems to think on emotion rather than reason, this is not good if you are a civil plaintiff or a defendant. If you are civil litigant and have the misfortune of being assigned this judge, file a motion to disqualify him. He has clearly been on the bench too long.

Comments:
Judge Kinnicutt is fair - if presented the facts in a professional manner, he is a fair judge who believes in doing the correct thing. I feel judge kinnicutt intends to be efficient and not waste the courts time - he seems to believe in being honest, in having good morals and being a good person, no matter what age, race or sex you might be - it does not matter who or what you are in his court room, it simply matters if you were right or wrong and can prove yourself without a doubt, which is what it is about right? I think he does a fine job.

Comments:
Judge Kinnicutt is arrogant and makes unpredictable decisions. He treats people poorly in court. I have appeared in front of him in civil, probate, and criminal cases. DQ him if you have the chance.

Comments:
This judge is not pro-plaintiff, as someone mentioned. He does not bother to make a fair assessment. He is also hostile to minorities.

Comments:
His temperament is awful and he does yell at all parties, and both prosecutors and defense attorneys. He continually gets re-elected because he is tough on crime. In trial he will limit opening and voir dire and will not allow speaking objections. I have given him the benefit of the doubt, but I would not recommend going in front of him at all.

Comments:
He is our judge in a case we, as plaintiffs, are fighting against a huge and corrupt corporation. The defendants have unlimited funds and have appealed his rulings twice already, and we have not even made it to trial yet. I am sure that when we finally prevail at trial, the defendants will appeal again. I am grateful that Judge Kinnicut is on this case with us. He is smart, thoughtful and fair. He cares about justice.

Is incredibly ill-tempered. Yelling is common place. He is usually uninformed on the law and is not someone you want to appear before. You never know if you are going to get Jekyll or Hyde. Stay away from this courtroom if you can.

Being from out of town I was told he is a hanging judge. Always smiling and pleasant - I couldn't read him. He refuses to give indicated sentences. In the end, it was community service for a felony and everybody was happy. I'm sure one could upset this judge, so perhaps we got lucky? I like him.
