Judge Wong was known in the Sonoma Superior Court for being a "loose cannon". One could never predict how she would rule, what evidence, facts, or circumstances she would choose to hit upon in order to support her conclusions which she obviously formulated almost at whim. Her heart was in the right place, but she had no business ever being a jurist and her decisions cut a swath of destruction across that county and will continue to. She was, as previously noted, an embarrassment to the court.

There's no other way to put this, Judge Wong is an embarrassment to the bench. From her little "floor show" she likes to put on at the beginning of a calendar to the fact she refuses to accept evidence at a hearing(even though she accepts a mediator's report as the gospel truth which last time I checked is evidence) to her unlawfully ordering litigants to attend parenting classes without any sort of need or allegations by either side to that effect, she's a joke. If you're looking for anything resembling civil procedure or the evidence code in her courtroom, you're going to be sorely disappointed. Everyone tries to challenge her but it's nearly impossible to get out of her courtroom because it forces the other judges to carry her load.
