Judge O'Connor has been presiding over family law calendar for several years. I appear before her on a regular basis. She is always well-prepared. She is respectful of attorneys and litigants. Even though over the years she has ruled against my clients on occasion I believe she represents what we would want in a family court judge. She takes great care in reaching the right ruling, she moves the calendar along, she does not waste time, and she demonstrates total and demonstrates a complete lack of any bias. It is impossible to please litigants on opposite side of the case and in family law litigation someone would always be unhappy, however there is always a reason why someone looses in a family law case and often these individuals who complain about the judge here have nobody but themselves to blame for their loss.

Judge Kathleen Oconnor does not consider the best interest of the child she considers who she likes more. I dont know how somebody in her power can be so biast and cruel, She violoted my rights as a mother and as an American. My father fought for this country i missed out on having a full time dad for this countty and now my rights are being violated by a Judge for no other reason than she does not like me. My daughter is suffering because Judge O'Connor decided that SHE think I am not a good Mother when history proves that I am a great mother. I am fighting back I am going to try to take this bitch down legally through the judicial council and the higher courts.

Comment #: CA10728
She is extremely biased. ignored a court mediator recommendation and court counseling recommendation. Did not apply anything the experts were suggesting for the father. She made complete biased judgments that were not in the best interest of the child

Comment #: CA9004
Judge O'Connor needs to be remived from tge bench. She allows hear say, false accusations, perjury, all without recorse or evidence from the other party. If you arr going pro-se, you better lawyer up cause she will screw you. She only straightens up when the party she is going to screw over, comes in with an attorney. The judge needs to be removed off the bench and civil rights charges brought against her

She is a very knowledgeable judge. I appeared in front of her, and was pleasantly surprised that her courtroom is open at least 15 minutes before court is scheduled to begin. She started court at exactly 9:00 a.m. She had a good demeanor, and it was obvious that she had reviewed her cases before taking the bench. She did not seem biased. She was very professional and had a good temperament. She seemed very fair.
