Civil Litigation - Govt.

Comments:
Appeared before Judge Patton for the first time today. His calendar was impossibly long so I witnessed him in action for over three and a half hours with different types of cases. He let everyone have their day in court, and even though he was as held captive as those of us at the bottom of his calendar, he patiently let each litigant argue their cases/motions for a fair amount of time without losing control over his courtroom. I had no expectations going in and was pleasantly surprised with Judge Patton. With respect to my matter, he called on his research attorney/clerk to look into a few issues. I will always be in favor of a judge that looks to the law for guidance on how to rule.
