case involved 25 year partnership agreement where one set of partners were deceased and the surviving partners wanted to exercise the option to purchase the deceased partners half of property. Brooks never bothered to read the 35 page partnership agreement. Cost us an extra $50K in legal fees to settle and acquire the property that was valued less than $100K total. Our driveway went through the property and the 11 dependent heirs just wanted to gouge the surviving partners. Brooks never read the agreement and considered the heirs as partners contrary to the agreement. He just dozed on the bench while our $500/hr attorney spoke. He is a joke as an attorney.
