This Judge allows his personal feelings and opinions to get in his way of ruling fairly. If he doesn't care for your attorney you loose regardless if the Law says you should win. My concern is that he was nominated by Obama for a Federal Seat and has no sense of the Law for a simple UD action. How is he going to be an asset to our District Court. He seems very bored sitting in his position as Judge in Santa Monica UD Court Dept S. So bored that he doesn't make decision that are within the law, and I would bet he doesn't read his papers. Does he not remember the Oath he swore to? I feel the nomination that was so graciously awarded him should be revoked as should his seat in UD actions. What a disapointment that our Judicial System has come to this.

This judge sits in Metro 62 (8/2013). He's very easy on the eyes, and his voice is smooth and calming.

He's very professional; fair and even-handed. He's a good judge.
