She is consistently cranky and refuses to let you speak even though you could clear the one probate note in 60 seconds or less. Therefore, the hearing is continued. Sometimes probate notes cannot be cleared with a document. And with the work load of the probate examiners, they often do not issue probate notes until it is too late to file a responsive/correcting document. What a waste of resources. She needs to be removed from the bench asap!

Comment #: CA36304
Biased and uninterested in the rights of the weak. She did not apply the law but pulled by opinion regardless of the evidence.

Comment #: CA35702
Judge Hubbard is unprepared, does not know her calendar or cases and is condescending towards attorneys and pro pers. She is particularly intolerant of pro pers who do not understand the system and those who unfortunately are not technologically sufficient and struggle with the remote hearing procedures. Judge Hubbard portrays unreasonable hostility towards attorneys and parties, comes across as angry with the world, and ready to snap at any point.

Comment #: CA26176
I really felt this judge had a terrible temper and zero patience in the court room. She passed over very important details of the case and was very degrading to all parties involved. Skip her...not worth the headache. Unless you have a very expensive lawyer who is very good, skip her. She's awful.

Judge Hubbard is basically a smart and moral judge but can't control her temper. It affects her rulings on evidentiary objections and is very disruptive. She thinks nothing of insulting and denigrating attorneys. She is somewhat better with pro per parties, although still condescending. Often she is so focused on her rage that she is missing important details of the case. While I have never seen focus on anger affect her judgment, I would not be surprised if it has or does in the future. I would steer clear if you can, she's too volatile and unpredictable.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA11830
Rude, ambitious, and not at all scholarly. Lacks compassion.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA11829
Temperamental appears not to read the Investigation Reports.
