Comments:
Coverage of the courts and judges (officers of the courts) is woefully neglected, and the conduct of this judge is a mega-indictment of a system secured by secrecy, back door collaboration and deals in chambers not recorded (much less witnessed), such that the losing party can just go sulk! It is everybody's business to know about these defects in our "systems of justice" -- whether it's the dissolution of a marriage, or Family Court issues of violence and abuse. It could be any one of us! He is the worst! Uninformed? He was a managing attorney for the appellate court!

Litigant

Comment #: CA4256
Rating:2.0
Comments:
Follows in Judge Waltz's footsteps....possibly more fair and even-tempered but has upheld almost every decision of Judge Waltz even though Judge Waltz was clearly a very ill jurist. Judge Salter needs to show some independence and stop calling Judge Waltz for advice on cases!

Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:9.6
Comments:
Judge Salter is a gift to the family law bench. He's brilliant, fair, calm, courteous to all, is not at all intimidated by litigants or lawyers, and runs a tight ship. And he seems to care. We can only hope he stays.
