I sat through ALL the cases and heard all the BS excuses, stories, and rambling on and on from the parties giving their sides and I couldn’t believe that this judge actually listened and allowed most of them to take as much time as they did to speak. I thought maybe he just has all the qualities you’d want in a judge- patience, understanding, and fairness. Well, now I know that is so not the case and that he was probably tired by the time he heard my case. My case was the very last one of a very long morning. I was cut off by the judge, not given ample time to respond, and simply not given a fair chance. After less than 5 minutes, which was by far the quickest of all the cases that day, he ruled against me, which was very wrong. Very sad to know that a person like that hands out rulings in Lodi.

This judge does not follow the law, loses his temper in court and generally just unprofefessional and very rude. Multiple cases in San Joaquin as a business owner and as a plaintiff who's evidence was not allowed to be viewed as rulings were predetermined when dealing with larger cooperate companies. Very biased

Rating:2.6
Comments:
For pretrial conferences, he stays in his chambers the entire time while attorneys confer in the courtroom. He is no help at resolving matters. He doesn't know the law on simple and complex issues.

I have never seen a judge behave so rude and demeaning. Treated attorneys like children in front jury. He made judges look really bad.

Unlawful detainer with both parties willing to have a ruling for termination on the 31 of March 2015 and this Judge didn't like the unlawful detainer used to make this happen and dismissed it advising we get an attorney. It could have been solved, instead now we will tie up the court system for what could be years to get a resolution and spend money unnecessarily. No wonder our courts are constipated.
