This is a lazy judge who spends a lot of time hobnobbing with the judges from his own school Santa Clara University Law School before he does the trial. As such he is biased with supporting his own. He does not listen, is prejudiced with his biased opinion before he comes into court. The previous opinion seems to be fake. It might have been put in there to offset some of this kind of fraud behavior. He did not provide me time to talk deliberately, ruled when he did not have an legal authority to do so given the circumstances and caused a lot of grief, pain and unsafe conditions for my family this Summer. I'd recommend prempt this judge. He is a joke and an liability to the courthouse.

Judge Stoelker is fair, thoughtful, and overall a great judge. In a contentious and highly emotional case, Judge Stoelker was thorough and provided a ruling that was even-handed and clearly showed he had read the papers, the case law, and had considered the issues at length, ruling in favor of Defendant where it was appropriate, and in favor of Plaintiff when it was appropriate.

Terrible judge. Very lazy. Doesn't care about evidence or the law. If you have any warning that you are getting him in law and motion or (God forbid) as a trial judge, make a peremptory challenge asap.
