Comments:
This Judge is exacting and brilliant. She is fair and even tempered. Moreover, she correctly applies the case law and codes, and is more than willing to review authority and supplemental briefs. Her trial rulings are well reasoned and supported by the law. Excellent Judge all the way around.

Just completed a trial with this judge. She is delightful -- clever in her comments without being cutting, knowledgeable on the law and intent on confirming her knowledge with research, evenhanded from the bench and always polite and fair to counsel.

This judge is a piece of shame to the justice system, if there is one. She does not even look at the facts in order to judge, she passes a judgment without the opposite party there. Incompetent, vindictive, not ruling as her oath of office mandates. She commits treason She is a reason why people do not want to approach the court system.

Patient, empathetic, compassionate AND sticks to the business at hand. I have been before Judge Jones 2X.
Both were straightforward unlawful detainer cases. Both defendants were self-representing and both were clearly clueless about the process. Judge Jones explained enough to facilitate and make the process understandable and yet kept it on track...

I am an attorney in a probate matter. I was invited into Judge Jones' chambers. She had put a sewing machine on her conference table and was using her chambers as a sewing room to make quilts. She has been vindictive and irrational toward me and my client. She doesn't follow the clear statutory rules of law, and I think she is unhinged.

I agree with the other poster that this must have been a judicial selection based on race and gender. She's a horrible judge. She's smug for no reason. She's not particularly smart or knowledgeable about the law. She has a serious attitude that she tries to hold back but using a monotone but she can't hide her b*tchiness. Her fellow judges need to stick her in some crappy judicial assignment and don't let her out until she retires. There is no way this lady would have ever made it in private practice and it is not shockers she's been in government her entire career.

Dishonorable Alesia F. Jones is the biggest joke of a judge in Solano county. Is it any wonder why she was removed from Family Law Court.... She is a pompous piece of crap as a judge. If not not for affirmative action she would have never been selected as a judge. As an assistant city attorney in Vallejo, that city went belly-up. The only thing she brought to the Solano county bench in the way of experience is absolutely nothing.... A first year law student would have more legal scruples than this moron....

Auntie Tom -

As city attorney of the city of Vallejo - she stuck it to the poor. As a judge - she is crass and sarcastic. She has no patience for regular people. She gets up and leaves with impatience. Oh sister, where art thou?
