` Judge DeNoce hurt me. He made wild assumptions and did everything possible to side with my perpetrator. He is just as guilty as my rapist. Rape is a crime of betrayal, and that’s where the trauma is. Judges who disbelieve victims are committing the same level of betrayal, except on the societal level. It has been said that court revictimization is worse than the actual rape itself, and I agree.

Kevin, all I’ve ever wanted was to be free of my perpetrator forever. What you did was spit in my face and reiterate my perpetrator’s gaslighting he uses to try to discredit my story, and help him feel better about himself for what he did to me. My medical records don’t lie, and I will be publishing very soon.

All victims should 170.6.

These are the type of posts that Judge DeNoce or an associate would make to distract from legitimate criticism. One of our sources who is also an attorney only has two judges on his 170.6 list: DeNoce and Lief. Getting on his 170.6 list is exceptionally difficult, and not even Walsh or Bennett have made the list (two judges with actual CJP admonishments).

Don't be mislead by these poster's 10/10 reviews. DeNoce is not the "nice guy" they claim he is--far from it. 170.6.

Inspiring application of case law. Honorable Judge DeNoce should be a justice If you pay attention in the higher Courts, they depend on precedent, equitable and legal doctrine. So much corruption exists in the superior and in the lower Courts; but Judge DeNoce is NOT one of them and deserves the "Your Honor" title. Very diligent Judge who will work long hours to get it right. A brilliant judicial light in Ventura. Why is he in ADR now? Will he be back on the bench in Court? One should always hope that if they present the facts and precedent w/legislature correctly and of course are in the right, that justice will prevail. Honorable Judge DeNoce works so hard to get it right, he is most likely exhausted from giving 1000% to litigants and attorneys.

A wonderful Judicial scholar! Where is he now, only ADR? He inspired a love of case law in me (regardless that we have been through hell, his work handling complex situations without any bias renews my sense of belief in our judicial system). Judge DeNoce is a brilliant civil servant, who is passionate about case-law, precedent, and our constitution. He deserves to be a Justice.

According to RAAIN, 1 out of 4 women and 1 out of 6 men are victims of rape in their lifetimes: https://www.rainn.org/statistics/scope-problem

Rape is so common in our society, yet it is one of the least prosecuted. Only 25 out of 1000 rapists are ever punished for their crimes. That means 975 victims out of 1000 were disbelieved or revictimized by judges such as Kevin DeNoce, Jeffrey Bennett, Mike Lief, and others. It is no coincidence that we have received multiple reports against these judges by victims of sexual abuse.

These judges are 100% responsible for the damage and suffering caused by their actions. Their actions further perpetrate abuse, and it is time we call them out on it and say #MeToo. So many people are affected.

I began this movement because I saw the abuses from behind the scenes and I know what goes on in these judge’s minds. They hate victims. Our justice system is entirely run on bias, discrimination, and stigma.

It is as you say, they made you your assailant’s financial slave with these large cash judgements. I feel it was cruel and unnecessary for your judge to continue the abuse in this way. After another sleepless night, I got woken up by a nightmare of being sent to jail and struggling for my life screaming at staff, “if there’s anyone who doesn’t deserve to be here it’s me!!!” I woke up with my heart racing and covered in sweat and the sheets pulled out of the mattress in a total mess. It’s only 8pm right now. This is how much the Ventura judiciary has affected my brain and my life. Im having PTSD nightmares of trying to kill staff that were abusing me in a jail I’ve never been to. It’s similar to what my rapist did to me and how I wish I had fought back instead of freezing like I did years ago.

Im writing this to show exactly how the Ventura judiciary has hurt me by forcing me to pay my perpetrator tens of thousands of dollars with no end in sight. So I wasn’t believed in trial, fine… but don’t reward my perpetrator tens of thousands of dollars so he can continue the victimization for years taking every dime I have and putting me in debt I can never escape. It’s a continuation of the abuse, and having PTSD nightmares like this are the result. I feel trapped, and no one in the courts would listen or care. The courts don’t see rape victims, they see wallets to be exploited.

VCRT, I know many lawyers have seen your posts. My attorney has seen it. You seem like one yourself, but there’s no need to confirm or deny. I appreciate all you do.

I just feel so trapped. My perpetrator lies so much and the court just believes everything he says. Even when he accuses me of raping him, like a MeToo version of “I know you are but what am I?” It’s really disturbing that the court thought it was okay for him to say this in open court and then turn around and reward him for it with a $40,000 judgement. I’m the one with medical records and injuries. I reported the rape within weeks of it happening. He makes this accusation after 6 years in a TRO hearing. He’s believed and I’m not. It’s obvious bias, discrimination, and stigma by the judge, and I really hate him for it. If it happened to me with as much evidence as I have, you know it’s happening to other victims.

I am screaming here for help. I don’t know what I can do to stop the legal abuse. Anything you can do would be appreciated.

The Robing Room is filled with hundreds of examples of victims who have been disbelieved and revictimized by the court system that was supposed to protect them.

Imagine a system where corruption wasn't the unwritten rule. It would be very uncommon for a judge to stand up and admit their court made mistakes and take action to investigate and correct wrongs. Instead, coward judges hide behind a veil of silence. It is shameful behavior, and Kevin has proven his contempt toward victims with his silence. He is complacent and that makes him just as much a perpetrator as the man who raped me.

After being raped and then forced to pay my perpetrator over $40,000 in attorney fees, I realized we don’t have a justice system in Ventura. We have a system of power and control. I was punished for coming forward about my abuse, for not staying in my lane, and for not staying quiet. He lies and gets rewarded for it.

This revictimization has been going on repeatedly for over 8 years. I’ve learned to expect it from these judges, who always side with him no matter what—even when he accuses me of raping him, which should have been a huge red flag. Instead the victim always has to pay and pay and pay without end. I’m tens of thousands of dollars in credit card debt because of the corruption in the Ventura courts.

These judges got creative to ensure my lawyer could never win, even when confronted with irrefutable proof of lies and fraud on the court. They just dismiss it and don’t care.

The helplessness of it makes me want to end my life. It’s the only way I can move on. My perpetrator won’t settle, even with a walk away. He wants total power and control. It’s never going to end and that’s exactly how these judges want it. I’m being punished for daring to say NO.

The callousness of Ventura judges such as judge DeNoce is just unbelievable. They really don’t care about me as a human being and only see a wallet to be exploited. Debt is a form of control, and blood money obtained through fraud awarded to a victim’s perpetrator is just slavery by another name. The court placated my perpetrator, awarding tens of thousands of dollars and wrongfully ignored documented instances of stalking and harassment that happened while a permanent restraining order was in effect, including medical records of my injuries—the mutilation of my genitals—calling it “ancient history.” It’s disgusting, immoral, and wrong. Your court did this to me, and I’m going to make sure what I went through wasn’t for nothing. I’m going to tell my story, and every judge who wronged me is going to be personally named. Shame on you, Kevin. I will remember what you did to me the rest of my life.

I hate what the Ventura judiciary did to me. Ventura does not protect victims of abuse. Judge DeNoce allowed my perpetrator to repeatedly lie and take advantage of the court’s bias against victims of rape and sexual assault to enrich himself. The evidence was completely ignored in favor of wild conspiracy theories by my perpetrator that I caused my injuries to myself by raping him. That I plied my rapist with alcohol and he doesn’t remember anything. It’s ridiculous. The evidence is on my side, but the court is too enthralled by stigma against rape victims to care.

Judge DeNoce, shame on you for playing a part to enrich this criminal, serial rapist. There are multiple accusers, including other members of my family, my sister and cousin, as well as other women who previously came forward and unsuccessfully sought restraining orders against him including for an 8 year old victim. You will be held responsible for future victims of this psychopath. I will be publishing my story.

DeNoce hasn’t been as active as he used to be with the Covid shutdown. Zoom has made him lazy in settlement conferences. I don’t recommend him anymore as a mediator. You’ll have better luck elsewhere and Kevin will just waste your time.

This post is the type of self serving post usually made by the judge in question or an associate.

The information provided against DeNoce comes from a trusted source. The only two judges on this particular attorney’s 170.6 list are Kevin DeNoce and Mike Lief, generally for the same reasons.

Both judges have proven themselves during COVID to be disengaged and uninterested in solving litigant’s problems.

This poster is actually just trying to deflect from the very keen point that a “conservative” court is really just a lazy one. Litigants deserve better.

My “agenda” is to create a better court for all and this poster knows that. There are plenty of judges I have not commented on because no complaints have been received. One example is Michelle Castillo, whom I think is an excellent judge, so evenhanded and fair. DeNoce is nothing like Castillo’s example, not even close.

Readers, don’t let toxic positivity and distractions without substance dissuade you from real information. They want you to believe the court can do no wrong and that the court is perfect in every way. The truth is the court is far from perfect.

We have come across several reports that Judge DeNoce is a lazy judge who does not read the papers, rules based on bias, and displays ego in the courtroom. When judges do not take the time to care about a case, ultimately the victim suffers. Laziness is written off as a “conservative” court, but victims know the truth.

Judge DeNoce, you should really start doing a better job at being a judge before you create a victim worthy of Anonymous!

It could be said that Judges Kevin DeNoce and Michael Lief are like two peas in the pod, and birds of a feather flock together! Beware this judge.

I defended a personal injury case at trial with Judge DeNoce and found him to be have a good court room demeanor. however on each and every close call, he found for Plaintiff. Overall, he seemed disinclined to deeply evaluate the issues and simply went with the safe call. however, he did appear to go deeper when necessary to rule for Plaintiff. It could be that he suspected Plaintiff did not have a strong case so better to rule in favor of plaintiff to avoid appeals.

My second matter before Judge DeNoce involved a trade secret misappropriation matter. It was during the covid pandemic, so perhaps his mind was elsewhere, but he failed to read the papers and basically punted at every opportunity refusing to make any rulings or even effectively consider a TRO.

I agree with everything they said and for the record the comments and allegations below about the Kevin Denoce are supported by evidence and witness so anyone who pretends or tries to divert [Redacted]. This is not a case of someone being unhappy with litigation [Redacted]

Any attempt and cover up the truth is silly and false since there’s a significant record and can easily be retrieved from the court docket for a small fee.

The poster in the prior comment has also posted 10/10 glowing reviews on several other judges that have had negative information recently come to light. Her postings may be attempts to curry favor from several judges by attempting to counter damaging information. She included her initials in one post. According to her website, “Anyone with a legal matter here needs to understand that Ventura County is different than other counties” meaning that you need an attorney who knows everyone in Ventura’s court to increase your odds of success in litigation here. The reader should beware of toxic positivity that some local attorneys express, as if the courts never make a mistake and injustice doesn’t exist at all in our court!
