I appeared for a simple Motion this past week before this Judge. It was a busy law and motion calendar. We ended up being the last case called. But, I observed this Judge lacking the ability to control arguments between opposing side- he would let each side ramble on and on on the same exact points. He also seemed unfamiliar with the motions before him-including my motion and I had to explain the whole motion as if he never read the moving papers beforehand. I also noticed the prior moving parties ahead of me had to also explain their motions to this Judge (as if he had not read the moving papers ahead of time)-this just made the calendar longer than it should have been. On my unopposed motion, he allowed the opposing side to argue his "opposition" on issues that were totally irrelevant to the motion at hand- I found that frustrating that this Judge allowed this. I think how this Judge runs things is very inefficient.

This Judge is completely out of his mind. At one hearing his upset with the other party and gives strict warning not to violate, and at the next hearing you get his Clerk all angry at us before we even enter the Court Room. The end result is that our Daughter did not get a fair hearing. We are going to the media with this and we will take all the evidence with us including the transcript of the last hearing. No one should have to put up with this kind of abuse.

wow, I was warned in the hallway and was the person i spoke to right. Stafford walks into the courtroom in a blur fumbles through his paperwork... the clerk dictated the entire hearing..I do not believe this judge even knew what was happening with our case and shotgunned out comments, we were not even sure he knew the laws pertaining our case, ruled against us with no reason.. little to say except.."get out of my courtroom" The case before us the person asked him "i need the order that shows these people can take money out of my account" the reply; a death stare and the answer was; go downstairs to records and find it yourself good day...RECALL!

Worst! He has no control of his courtroom, keeps litigants waiting while he tries to figure out the pleadings....during the hearing no less and allows attorneys to file known forgeries because he is friends with them. Clueless, I believe he has a two digit IQ.He forgets to rule and has no concept of the laws.

This judge is less competent than most, even in Orange County. I had a small (two hour) trial last week before him, and even though I won (because there had been a prior dismissal with prejudice in the file), it took him ages to figure that out. We should be seeing him spend the duration of his career on the bench in limited civil. Doesn't have the brain power to go higher.

Well, he's been on the bench for a year now, and he still can't seem to figure out the role of "judge." He lets his clerk run the court and she tells him what to do -- even on rulings on contested matters. This is good if you are doing something routine and bad if you need a judge who thinks.

The only way to deal with this situation is to walk in and immediately take control of the courtroom yourself.

Knows very little about the cases he handles. Does not read the papers and just "wings it" when he takes the bench. There's a reason they put him in civil limited -- he's not very bright which means, I guess, that he will probably be there for a very long time.

I wish there were a rating of zero out of ten or something below zero, i.e., a negative number -- this judge doesn't deserve the "1." Ding him straight away.
